Yes, you can still go out for groceries and essentials. More tha anything, it’s just a messaging thing that communicates the severity of the situation.

The wait and see approach is going to get a lot if people sick. Everywhere needs to be under some type of order.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) said someone in the state tested positive for COVID-19 after attending a “coronavirus party.”

“We have a positive test from someone who attended a ‘coronavirus party,’” Beshear said at a press conference Tuesday. “We ought to be much better than that.”

Beshear added that the gathering consisted of a “group of young adults in their 20s who I guess were thinking they were invincible” and warned that while younger people may not feel serious symptoms if they contract the virus, they could spread the illness to more susceptible populations.

Most of that other stuff was in Pelosi's plan she created that she was going to introduce if the senate could not come together.

Now she is saying they are going to introduce more bills after this now that it seems her tactics did not work and she is getting slammed by a lot of people for what she and her friends want to include that is not related to the virus.

The politics of this is sad but it is what it is and I guess she is trying to make it her legacy. I mean on Sunday got she got involved in the Senate negotiations even though not a Senator then said if they would not add certain things she would come up with a bill and then Monday produced a 1400+ page bill. She was waiting in the wing and now Trumps approval rating jumping up her and her friends are scrambling.

I'm no Pelosi fan or anything, but none of this is acurate.

So, if none of that's accurate, then what's the accurate account of it? The opposite of everything he posted?

1) I'm not interested in discussing it past simply stating that it wasn't accurate at all.

2) There are more ways to discuss a thing beyond creating 2 polar opposite concepts. The fact that so many Americans want to create 2 polar opposite points of view is the principle reason for my point number 1 above.

For reference, if you look at the color red and say "That's blue," I can say "That's not accurate." - and I'm in no way saying the correct color is "the opposite of blue."

Later.

Yea, that person shouldn’t get the chance to go into the hospital if needed. The person forfeited their opportunity at that by being a dumb shite.

Here’s a link to the “inaccurate” account of Pelosi’s version of a relief bill, Prevatt. It’s from Bloomberg but it’s available from other sources as well.

BREAKING: Democrat Sheriff Baker of the Wake County, NC Sheriff's Department just suspended pistol permits and concealed carry permits.

This is in violation of North Carolina State Law and is unconstitutional.

We must take a stand against this.

I read further down the thread and got this from someone unverified
quote:

This is just the processing of new applications. If you have a current concealed permit you can still legally carry.

Which is still something that he doesn’t control

Until April 30th (for now) and also suspended new handgun purchase permits. He is breaking local and state law.

White House and Senate leaders reportedly struck a deal during the early morning hours on Wednesday over a $2 trillion stimulus bill to combat the economic fallout of the coronavirus outbreak.

“The White House and Senate leaders struck a major deal early Wednesday morning over a $2-trillion package to provide a jolt to an economy struggling amid the coronavirus pandemic, capping days of marathon negotiations that produced the far-reaching measure,” CNN reported. “’Ladies and gentleman, we are done,’ White House legislative affairs director Eric Ueland said right before 1 a.m. after leaving Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office following negotiations that have spanned around the clock since last Friday. ‘We have a deal.'”

I pray that this helps the people struggling. I hope it doesn’t have any extra pork in it or we’ll all pay

Wake County sheriff suspends pistol, concealed-carry permit applications as demand surges

quote:

Pistol permit applications last week averaged 290 per day, or more than three times the roughly 90 applications per day during the same time period a year ago, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Damn they seeing a thousand more apps a week than last year. You better be careful getting your toilet paper and clorox wipes in Raleigh .
