Seems many organizations including restaurants are helping with this all over the country. Especially with children who already receive free lunches.

Some of the local schools are providing free lunch pickup for children under 18. Sadly, I can't take advantage of that for my daughter bc I was unlucky enough to develop an extremely rare autoimmune disease shortly before this Pandemic. The disease itself lowers my white blood cells and other infection fighting agents and then the treatment medications lower it even further. It's a terrible time to be immunocompromised. Nevertheless, modern treatment is a wonderful thing, because it's allowed me to stabilize, whereas without modern treatment, mortality rates were well over 90%. Sorry to go slightly OT.

ETA: It's a non-contagious skin disease. Just thought I'd add that bc so many hear "autoimmune" and jump to HIV or similar.

There's probably 4000 or more people that work there. Employees are all in fairly close proximity. Or at least work among several dozens to hundreds in your department

I did 360 push ups, 360 sit ups and 75 pull ups today because of my gym shutting down.

Dude I've been trying compensate at home for my missed gym time because it's closed but I just haven't yet. It's only been closed for a couple of days though.

I still run every day, like usual. But I need to get in the garage and follow your lead.

I took off yesterday, but I got restless today.

I did the 10,000 push-ups challenge last April and got great results so I figured I'd do that again starting today.

Might as well go for 2,000 pull-ups for the month too.

I’ve been using bookbags filled with books, rice bags, and other household objects. Also have a resistance band. Still sucks. I miss the gym

I did a situp when I woke up, then some stairs and coffee cup curls.

Damn right it does.

I'm really going to suffer on leg days. Due to my torn ACL I can't do squats, but I can use the leg machines at the gym. I don't have anything at home to replicate that.

Damn I wish some of y'all would lay off us beach folks! You can be safe at the beach with common sense! It's real easy to say close them when it's not your arse on a business that needs it. Stay safe Comrades!

I see they're listing Houston County as having no cases. That's not correct. Somebody from Georgia went to the Southeast Health in Dothan and was diagnosed yesterday. And they're currently in quarantine there.

Do they not include out of staters in the numbers or something? That hospital serves residents for Alabama, Florida and Georgia so that would be a weird way to do it for this area.

I think I remember reading that those are counted in their home state.

Yeah. when I go to the grocery store no one gets near me, my allergies have me sneezing and coughing. I can appreciate them this one time.

Gotcha. Yeah, definitely a weird way of doing it, at least for this area since the hospital covers residents from 3 different states.

CA Gov issued a home isolate order and said within 8 weeks he predicts 56% to have the virus which is almost 23 million people in the state alone.

I remember seeing one of the first maps that was released for the state included an out of state confirmed then it was retracted the next day or so and counted towards their home state. Not sure the reasoning as I would rather have them listed as to where they are physically staying currently.

Yeah, for sure. I mean they should do it that way. If a ticking bomb is close by, I definitely want to know where it is

If I didn't check the local news, I would never know given the way they're doing this. With people coming from the surrounding states, it's just dumb and makes no sense for this area.
