Wonder when/if the big manufacturing facilities will stop?
Like Mercedes, Honda, etc.

Once(if) the government comes through on the bill t help these companies recover and pay their employees I think you will see more shut down. Not to mention companies who heavily export can only store so much before inventory carryover becomes a major concern.

I've been avoiding my gym, but just checked it's website and it's closed.

Mine was open yesterday.

They had barriers on every other treadmill, elliptical and bike with signs stating they were "closed for social distancing."

Yesterday, the staffer at my 24/7 gym told me they're locking the doors for two weeks at 5 pm today. I told him to call and tell the owner that if they do that, then ALL membership fees should be refunded for the 2-week lockout. We'll see.

Honest question for the board...about 2 months ago I was sick for about 2 1/2 weeks with all the symptoms of COVID19.....is there any chance I had it and didn’t know it?

Yep. People were certainly traveling abroad then, likely getting exposed & infected and returning to the U.S. with it. The symptoms are just like most other viral respiratory infections. People could've gotten it, not even consulted or seen a doctor and just treated themselves with OTC cold & flu meds.

Assurance Scientific Labs had to stop their testing at 7:30 this morning because they had already hit 500 tests.

Either we have a remarkable number of sick people in the Birmingham metro, or people who don’t really need to be tested are getting tested anyway (even though there is supposed to be a criteria before you can get testing).

I do think more people need to be tested, but until test kits are more readily available healthy people just need to stay the frick home and enjoy some down time. Kits should be more widely available in a week or so. Health care facilities are just now starting to get enough of them.

I\Here in NC you have to have a doctor referral before testing is allowed.

I was worried about the same. I have chronic sinusitis and not uncommon with temp changes and whatnot to get sick this year. But the last one was the worse that I had yet as it seemed I had the flu as well. Whatever I had seemed to exacerbate my sinus condition. But I had the normal symptoms of the sinus and flu at the same time but when I went to the VA they tested me for the flu and said I did not have it..

The testing being done by this lab here is supposed to be only for those with a doctor referral or who have been deemed to require testing by a physician at the testing site.

If you get sick and go get tested for flu and strep and they come back negative, the next step should be COVID19 and we should have been thinking that way since at least January. But nobody has, not even healthcare professionals which has contributed to the spread of this thing. Everyone has been in denial to one degree or another. Now it is rampant. Going forward, if any of you get flu-like symptoms, but you test negative for flu, don't take no for an answer, get tested somewhere and take appropriate measures. It's the only way to beat this thing.

Probably sooner. Roche shipped 400k of them out 2-3 days ago.

I just bought some more high quality colloidal silver. I'd run out of it. It kills bacterial and viral pathogens in your body without harming your beneficial bacterial flora in your digestive system. I use it early (as soon as I experience any mild symptoms) to kill infections quickly. It can be gargled and swallowed or sprayed or nose-droppered into nostrils & sinuses, or put on wounds.

Even if I get exposed to the COVID-19 virus, I'm confident I can prevent becoming infected with it. I never get any flu shots and I never get any colds, flu, digestive system or other viral infections, despite exposure to people who have them. I use it at the first sign of any symptoms and it kills the pathogen cells off quickly. My father relied on it for 30 years and never got any infections.

Due to his and my experience using colloidal silver, I do recommend considering it, but I'm not advising anyone to use it. You can easily research it online, and may want to consult your MD before using it, especially if you're taking any medications. The “4 P’s” to Choosing the Right Colloidal Silver Supplement Peaceful Mountain is a good brand -- what I just ordered. It's only $14, with free shipping on ebay for 6 oz 30-ppm (dillutable to 10 ppm).

Lee County, Alabama, the home of Auburn University, where officials have been having trouble discouraging young people from visiting bars, now has the second-highest number of COVID-19 cases in Alabama.

Seven total today. That's up four from yesterday.
