Thanks for the thread and the updates. It has been my go to every few hours the last week or so, love all the info everyone gives out. This transfer portal is like the new signing day.

It’s very skinny. But we have 105 man roster. I expect we will fill a lot of holes for depth with small school guys. Just a guess of course. I think with 9 conf games and the loss of the second bye week which doesn’t come back around until like 2030/31 I think, Bama will have to get guys out of the game asap and let some of the D2 and JUCO guys play to stay healthy for a long season.

DeBoer has to fix the run game. We don’t have the RBs to do so right now and we don’t have the OL. We will see what happens but if he flips to Texas we will see more of the same putting the game squarely on either Austin or Keelins shoulders. That won’t be good.

Well everything is going great for DeBoer right now. We've got so many holes on this team that if he start losing the few pieces we've snagged in the portal before they officially sign then he damn well may bottom out in 2026.

I said something similar yesterday, and got roasted for it. When we start losing the guys we have committed from the portal; it isn’t a good sign for the direction of his tenure.

Maybe Sark is doing like Coach Bryant did in the 1960s when there was basically no scholly limits. He would sometimes sign a guy not because he thought that player was really good but he didn’t want any other school to get him?

Our OL fix necessary to be in the hunt for the playoffs has got to be portal heavy. There is still time but one IOL who wasn’t even a starter is not getting us there. We really need experienced guys who can run zone, pull, and cross blocks well.
