Thank you. I've had to scroll past many posts just to find news about the transfer portal.
We need a "Bama Rant thread" for people to post on when they are pissed about something.

Where does Miami's money come from? It's a relatively small, private university without an on campus stadium or a lot of fan support. I get tOSU and the Texas schools having deep pockets but what is the source of Miami's pay for play?
They have a billionaire booster, John Ruiz, funding NIL packages.

No kidding. That’s why I said might as well roll with the young guys. I personally think KR can be as good as any of them. Ty did well this year , especially with the deficiencies around him . I think KR this year, can have at least similar / maybe better numbers. You never know how Mack or KR are going perform until they are in fire. With NIL I don’t know how long we will/ can hang on to them anyway

Guess I’m not sure why you would have used Ty’s costing us a game or two in his 1st year starting to advocate for another 1st year starter. I would have expected you’d want a QB that has a chance to not cost a game or two instead.
I, personally, am not fine with having a 1st year starter year after year. If we go with Keelon, we better be ready to pay him after next year to keep him. If we go with Mack, we better be ready to lose Keelon because I sure as heck don’t want Mack for 1 year, Keelon for 1 year, and a 4th consecutive 1st year starter in 2028.

Nobody has said that is ideal. My point was , and I may not have been responding to you necessarily but some had implied that they wanted Ty back for experience bc a young QB will cost you a few games . So I pointed out that the last 2 QBs (Milroe, Simpson) have arguably cost us a couple of games so why not go with someone who has a higher ceiling even if it costs you a game or two but also gives you a better shot at retaining them for a few years

I just went thru 12 pages to get caught up over the weekend by scrolling past 90% of the posts due to bickering back and forth.

I am still holding out hope we make some staff changes. Having a 1st year starter doesn’t excuse poor coaching, so OL and ST coaches at a minimum have to go
Seconded
