Proctor was a good player and he is going to be drafted in the first round.
We would take 5 guys just like him every year if we could. He was overweight and out of position but he gave up like 2 sacks this year.

I’ve read that schools have two days to process transfer requests so you could still see people entering through Sunday.

Scouting Report on new Alabama OL commit Nick Brooks (#71)
- Massive, high-ceiling OL with great length (6’7, 350)
- Started several games at LG as a true freshman, recruited as a OT out of HS
- Very raw technically, will need to continue to develop and improve fundamentally, play with better pad level
- Moves better than expected for his frame, but must work on having better balance and body control
- Flashes physicality in run blocking but must be more consistent
- Pass pro a work in progress, must clean up stunt recognition and pick up
Overall: Young, raw talent with significant upside. Elite physical traits and all the tools you could ask for, but will need development and consistent reps to refine fundamentals and reach his full potential.

Proctor did not move anyone all year. Not saying he won’t be drafted high because of his measurables but he was hardly a dominate lineman and was pretty inconsistent at tackle. He will probably end up a guard in the league.

Say what you will but bama is a top tier developmental program for future transfers to OSU and the Texas schools.

Bama’s weakness - blocking - is being addressed with all these OL and TEs.
The skill guys need to be able to shine and the QBs need protection.

This is good because it was being suggested we had a couple more guys who were leaning towards leaving.
