Very, very disappointed in the coaches and team management so far this offseason - though I’m trying to have patience.

They should have spent some major dimes and locked in (on the dotted line) a good RB and other positions of need. A big-time experienced WR (for QBs who have never started a single college game) would have been nice too.

I just don’t see where the team is getting immediate help for next year. I see a lot of losses though.

We have two top 3 backs out of highschool on the roster.

OL is the only desperate need and coaching can fix that in an offseason.

I agree. We should be hitting he OL first then DL. Then a few skill positions and or needs.

We just don't have the money to spend. I'm sure we would have liked to throw money around like Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Michigan, etc, but we don't have that much money.

Crowell is legit. Just rewatched his highlights.

Would not be shocked if he starts.

Then we have ZERO reason to bitch about the outcome of games next year.

If Bama is having to depend on the mental giants in the current coaching staff, then we are screwed.

We will be fine if we can run the football. DeBoer had a 1000 yard rusher at Washington and we havent had one since 2021 Brian Robinson Jr.

He’s probably in a tough predicament. Enter the draft now and possibly go first round for as much or more than the $6.5 mil or transfer and take the cash guaranteed but risk pulling a Nussmeier.

Not a predicament at all. NFL is the safest and best choice for him.

We need to keep this thread around until the end of next season. It will be interesting to revisit to see if people are melting over nothing or this is the beginning of the end.

You think our current coaches can fix that?

Quick note:

We’re still waiting on a bunch of players to decide whether they’re coming back or declaring for the draft (e.g., Hubbard, Pierre, Sabb).

The deadline to declare for the draft is January 14th.

The conversation no one seems to want to address concerning the OL is that our RB's the last few years haven't helped them one bit, especially last year. Every single team in the playoff besides us and Oklahoma had RB's running through tackles constantly or making guys miss. Fletcher from Miami probably broke more tackles in the last two games than our RB's did all year. Hill was the only guy last year that could run through an arm tackle. It's a massive problem with talent when your RB is brought down by one guy the vast majority of the time.
