I know we've all been drooling over the pics of the freshmen, but has anyone else seen the pics of LaMichael Fanning? He looks like he is carved out of stone. No human being is supposed to be that ripped at 6'7" 275 pounds.

No human was suppose to be as ripped as he was at 290.

His clique is gone, so I guess all he has to do in his spare time is work out

Did you see the next two plays? The ones where he got blown a combined total of about twenty yards off the line.

I talked to Derrick Crudup back in 2011. He said that Bama had 3 FR on defense that would be 3 and gone - HaHa, Xzavier Dickson, and DePriest. He said if it ever "clicks" for Fanning then he could make it 4 that play 3 years and head to the NFL.

He said Fanning has top 15 potential but he has zero consistency.

Plays too high. He'll never be a big timer unless he can get lower.

Correctamundo!!

Coupled with the fact that he seems to have a pretty slow jump off the line, I just don't see it happening with him.

Fanning is an example of a guy who has great measurables but just isn't a great football player IMO.

Jury is still out. Isnt he only a RS Soph this year? He does play too high, though. He will have to correct that if he ever wants to play Dline.

True. He still does have time to improve. It just appears as if he gets a lot of attention because, " OMGZ DEM MUSCLES!" for a guy who does very little with his limited playing time.
