All right. That’s the 1 nail biter for the season. We got it out the way. Easy street from here….

So, in reviewing this game, the refs should have called a safety against BY because even though he threw the ball away, it was intentional grounding, right?

The roughing the passer/targeting call was AWFUL, but they def missed the intentional grounding call, no?

I don't mind the decision to go for it, but certainly not in the shotgun. That's an easy QB sneak

With 3 guys behind him in the backfield pushing him. It's literally football 101, and our fricktard of an OC can't grasp it. Lane Kiffin would have had Jonathan Allen and A'Shawn pushing Jake Coker from behind.

That's what I thought but I didn't watch a replay of it. I wasn't all that confident in the moment that it was even a forward pass

No. He passed it forward and it hit a Texas player in the helmet. Eventually they got the call right.

It was definitely a forward pass. It would have gone forward out of the endzone, but it hit a Texas helmet and bounced backwards.

It was def forward, just not sure it made it to the LOS and it bounced off a Texas defender, so not sure there was a receiver in the area.

And who is the holder? That guy deserves props as well. My hands would be so sweaty the ball would go right through them.

Its like bill does not ever just go with a FB lead.
But the kid Williams went beyond were the ball was snapped from.So I know how we did not get the right spot.So I would say the spot was bad from were the ball hit the ground.

Horrible game from just about every aspect, but I don’t believe Alabama is as bad as this performance indicates.

I am glad it happened early in the season, as we have a difficult road conference schedule.

A lot things conspired against us today:

plenty off season rat poison
six months for Sark to prep for us ( much like Jimbo last year)
11am start (when is the last time we had this early start on the road?)

Not making excuses at all, but it was like the stars aligning for Texas.

We won, now let’s see how the team responds.

By the way the people who said Joel Klatt would be fair when talking about Bama can suck an egg . He was straight bias against Bama and I normally give announcers the benefit of the doubt.

I obviously want them to win every game, but our prior national championship teams that finished with a loss used it to propel them towards the title.

Winning this one won't have the same effect. I think it actually hurts us moving forward.

Hope I'm wrong.
