Yeah I should have said young talent. Rele is the only older guy who really consistently contributes a lot. We have athletes and we need some basketball players. Randolph is alright, cooper just had his best game but in general is a place holder on the floor, Jacobs can only go left and is undersized, and Engstrom is just bad but has gotten better.

We played a high ranked duke team close all game, Florida and Wichita st were close. I think that's playing above this teams talent level.

who you been watching..only young bucks are Hale and the big center. Rest are seasoned and have not gotten much better. Even in this game our PG almost found a way to help lose by having no clue what to do in the second half.

Yeah Carl did surprisingly well defending JOB3. I think going with him down the stretch was the right move.

I also liked AG's rotation. Moving guys in and out to keep them fresh. Down the stretch though you could tell he was sticking with the main ones and it paid off.

He hit 2 against UF too (though one was probably an unintentional bank shot). I guess it's something he worked on in the offseason.

Two straight 40 minute games in three days for Releford. Poor judgment by Grant imo.

Situational both games. First half I get him out at any dead ball when TV timeout is close. Second half do the same depending on game flow.
Bama has a PG? Releford is a two guard playing on the top. The half court offense changes very little with Trevor on the bench for a couple of minutes, any of the wings can play the PG position during that time.

with releford being a 2 and being so short I don't see how this will translate for him being an NBA PLAYER. I have read where folks say he is an NBa player. i don't see it.

Neither do I. He's just too small and doesn't have a good enough jumper. Those acrobatic layups won't work in the league.
Shame too because he has some talent and plays hard.

I agree! Next year could very possibly be a good year. Just hope Grants fired before then so he doesn't earn another year..
