Yea dont dive into the Rutgers OL number from 2009 to 2013. You might vomit.

2009 - 90th YPC, 112th Sacks (9-4)
2010 - 118th YPC, 120th Sacks (4-8)
2011 - 117th YPC, 83rd Sacks (9-4)
2012 - 98th YPC, 9th Sacks (no clue) (9-4)
2013 - 98th YPC, 106th Sacks (6-7)

Immature. Didn’t leave Penn State on good terms either.

It isn't pretty, but the talent on those lines was... fine for the level of program, but he sure didn't get much more out of them.

The Colt's oline coach that is getting floated has a better track record, but I can't find anything on whether he has any recruiting experience.

His film looks like Tyson's... don't see how he would top our board unless that was an Enos, this is my guy, thing.

He was rated as the 11 Pro Style QB. Lia and Tyson were rated higher. Seems like BS which isn’t unusual from Harbaugh. I am thinking that the whole Dax Hill flip and recommitment was orchestrated.

I'm not even talking rating, we have had boards that wildly differ from consensus before so that part isn't weird. It's that as far as I can tell from both his camp performances and film, he basically is a more mobile Tyson. Doesn't seem like a player that would even for a split second when the board was shifting around a lot be the top QB.

Edit: Unless he was our backup option if Lia flipped to LSU and Tyson didn't want to come to bama without a scholarship? (I know this is a random report and Gattis/Harbaugh are probably lying, but it's slow around here and speculation is all we can do)

Found comment on a Michigan site about McNamara hilarious:

quote:

A narrative continually perpetuated by SEC shills is that northern teams not named Ohio State can’t recruit the players that the top dogs down South want. ESPN personality Paul Finebaum has gone as far as to repeatedly say that Jim Harbaugh and Michigan will never get a recruit from the region that Nick Saban and Alabama wants — despite tangible evidence to the contrary. Well, add more fodder to the Michigan side.

He is from Reno, NV, when did they become part of the southern region?

They still believe Najee is getting on that plane to Ann Arbor

It appears Sark is clearly the new OC, since he's been involved in interviewing offensive staff candidates. A reliable BOL insider says Lance Taylor is the new WR coach. Maybe the new OL coach has already been determined too, since Saban is out recruiting in Georgia today (LINK).

Honestly at this point assuming the OL coach we bring in is a competent recruiter I'm pretty happy. Now on to the defensive staff... although the hammer probably will not fall there until after NSD with Bogle, Young, Williams, Pickering and To'too'to still up to bat.

According to what Surge or Saint just posted Bogle said that as of today he would sign with bama.

Kyle Flood looks to be the new OL coach. Familiar with Sark which I like b cause that should help with continuity.

I wish he had one good college line to point to... as SOG posted earlier, it's not pretty.

Yeah I’d prefer Stoutland or he’ll even Pendry but I don’t honk that’s in the cards. I just want to go back to the mash and mail offenses except now we’ve got a QB that can hurt you if you stack the box.

'That offense get's you beat. Fundamentally a run first offense is doomed to fail against the best teams because those teams run out offenses that will be more efficient and score more often then yours. I don't mind a more power based run game, but once you creep into the 52-54% run play calls you are limiting your offense for no reason.

I can almost picture Saban flicking me off after making the Sark and Flood offers.
