Golding isn't developing our linebackers. Just look at Mack Wilson last season. He regressed but he is starting in the NFL now

You are correct, but in his defense, he's never coached LB's and was forced into that slot. He's a DB guy and the current one seems to suck. I'm not defending Golding, the DC. I think the verdict is on him there and he's way over his head and floundering. Fire his arse. I'm defending the LB coach who isn't supposed to be coaching them because it's not his strong suit and it was known before we forced that square peg into the round hole. Who's at fault for that? So why don't we fire the DB coach and let Golding at least coach his strong suit?

Tua basically handed LSU the ball inside their 10 yard line on the first drive

We can agree that next year is pivotal for Golding.

Burrow had what? 13 consecutive completions? That’s insane. Majority of those were uncontested. DB’s let us down today.

Now, I agree with this! Auburn's CBs contested everything and they played their best game of the season against LSU. For the life of me I don't understand why there were so many blown coverages early in the game.

Golding has done a tremendous job considering the circumstances. Several true freshmen starters in the front seven. A multitude of injuries to deal with.

Disagree.

I think it seems he may be in over his head. Even considering the circumstances.

How about the rest of the defense?

We just played an elite offense and got out-executed while turning the ball over. How about we simply admit the other team played better without melting and demanding heads to roll.

You realize you are the ONLY person on here who thinks both coordinators called a good game? Being unique doesn't make you right. Just unique.
I do appreciate your positivity though.

Bet Saban regrets not going for it on 4th down on Bama's 1st drive on the 2nd half.

The way the offense played in the 2nd half, I think Bama would have converted.

I can agree that he shouldn't be coaching linebackers, and I don't understand why Saban has him there. I also don't think he should be anything more than a position coach at this point of his career.

I always see the game from the player's perspective. Too many dropped balls, missed assignments, and missed tackles. I don't mind being different.

I think many of us knew it would be a learning curve with Golding stepping up to big time college football. But, Sark has the experience and was inept today.

I think Saban should consider hiring someone to fix these issues...

First off, I'm not melting. I'm having a conversation. Just because we don't agree, doesn't mean that I'm melting.

Second, it's my opinion that Golding is in over his head. Just like it's your opinion that he isn't. Your opinion isn't any better than mine.

Can we please stop saying people are melting just because they have differing opinions. Seems like everyone in here is handling themselves relatively well.

If you felt insulted, that wasn't my intent. We can agree to disagree.

I believe Saban brought in Sunseri and Charles Kelly to aid Golding and I believe they have done a solid job. Saban didn't think he'd have to bring in coaches to aid Sark.

Probably one of the biggest disappointments is the lack of difference from having the Sunseris coaching. I expected a real boost from bringing them back. The injuries certainly haven't helped but not developing the depth better in the offseason is concerning.
I'm exciting about some of the recruits coming in but we'll be relying on freshmen too much again.

I wonder how much the loss of Labryan Ray and Stephon Wynn have mattered. It could be significant, particularly in the light of starting 2 true freshman ILBs.
