Weber St. put 20 on Cal. If Ole Miss doesn't score 40, they should be ashamed

I don't know about all that but we clearly look less scary at DL and LB. We're still very good, but very good isn't our standard (whether that is fair or not). Maybe Evans coming back will be a big boost. Maybe we were mush rushing again. But that was an ugly performance on defense.

I didn't think that would be a controversial opinion.

It's definitely a different defense. I'm hopeful that we can get Evans and Jennings back healthy soon and I think that will settle things a bit. The DL is the biggest concern. I just don't see the players there. Payne is the only guy I feel really good about, but he's not a pass rusher. Dwight has flashed a little the last couple games, maybe he can work his way into the fold.

I wonder why Hurts came back out for the last series?

I swear, it looked like Saban was pretty pissed off at Tua after the last few series. He was giving it to him as he came off the field.

Saban mad, put the starters back in.

If we kept our first team offense in, we could've scored a few more times and kept their offense off the field more. Couple of personal foul penalties kept their last two scoring drives alive when we had stopped them.

We've had similar to worst performances in pretty much every championship year we've had.
Not from the defense we've not. When is the last time we've given up around 400 yards and 20+ pts to non P5 team? This defense just doesn't have the it factor. And the injuries sure as hell haven't helped.

I got a feeling this might be that down year we are do for.

Meh, Jalen is a good enough playmaker to keep us in every game. I'm actually one of the few here that thinks our offense is fine. Defensively though, they've got problems all around. Maybe it'll get fixed when we get healthier, but they are lacking in critical areas.

Also keep in mind that the SEC is pretty average this year. No one on Bama's schedule scares me except State.

This board is legitimately unreadable sometimes. 99% of you/us don't even know how things work on the inside of this team, so everything we say is just hot air.

Side notes:

Memphis has won their last 3 games against AP ranked teams.

UK 17, USC 6, early Q4.

Yeah, I always forget that I can't read game threads without getting a massive dose of dumbassery.

We keep Jalen in at QB from the mid 3rd quarter on and we win by 30.

But some idiots want Tua to replace him moving forward.

having concerns about our D when we play a team with an offensive pulse.

Yea, Jalen is clearly the QB. Anyone aruging otherwise at this point is just being purposely stubborn.

Najee Harris isn't even one of the Top 5 running backs who are True Freshman, let alone a Top 5 overall Freshman.

I don't want to say I told you so just yet, but I'm getting real damn close.

He's not explosive and he dances too much.

Jalen had a really good game. I'm concerned about the D but I'm hoping experience and getting some guys back will help. I wish Saban would leave the DBs alone.

Yea, at this point I'm not sure why he's in the rotation.

Maybe not, but the sample size is pretty small, no?

And who would be the third back if not him? I'm not sure though, that 4 carries in a blowout really qualifies as "in the rotation."

I would rather see Brian Robinson to be honest. He apparently had a nice camp.
