Cool. I'm glad to see, then, that you agree that an offense that can't sustain drives, such as our game vs Clemson, will get you beat.

Hurts looked good in the 3rd quarter, so that was encouraging. He was staying in the pocket longer instead of taking off, showing more patience, and was even checking down to secondary receivers. We will need more of that against the good defenses to sustain drives and keep the defense off the field.

edit: And I am fairly confident the defense will improve.

These fricking Clemson guys are pretty damn good. I sure wish they would stop hoarding D linemen

Their defense looks very good right now. Perhaps best in the nation.

Absolutely. My issue is with people blaming the offensive woes in that game on Hurts. He didn't call the plays. That fricking moron Sarkisian did. We had Harris and Jacobs, with 1,600 yards rushing between them, holding their dicks on the sideline with a 10 point lead. Totally unacceptable.

With him running the offense we are damn near unbeatable. Sure we lost against Clemson, but he put us in position to win with his play.

Absolutely. Not only have we been extremely vanilla on defense, but we are working through a ton of injuries. We'll be fine.

I'm glad we can be friends again.

Anyone know what the time of possession was? Seems like Bama's D was on the field a lot. CS was 10-17 on 3rd down.

Side note, Clemson should be the number 1 team in the country next week.

Saban said Miller Forrestall is more than likely out for the year.

Good thing we have Smith, Hentges, James and Tennison on the roster.

So that's three guys out for the year through three weeks. I honestly can't remember us having an injury year like this since Saban has been here.

Watch Ole Miss put 40 plus on Cal tonight.

Cal gave up 570 yards to FCS Weber State last week and around 500 yards to a North Carolina team that has Brandon Harris splitting reps at QB. If OM fails to put 40 on them, they're not going to win many SEC games this season.

Ronnie Clark can also play TE, if needed.

having concerns about our D when we play a team with an offensive pulse.
because of this game? We have half our defense injured, and you are worried because a team with a 3 year starter senior QB and some good shill players scored a couple garbage touchdowns in our new 2s, who 2 weeks ago we out 3s? My main concern is that we let up (coaches), and that's what you get when you let up, teams leaving in the starters in games they can't win, scoring garbage TDS, going for 2 and doing moronic insides kicks. I wish we would have scored 70 on them

So much this.

We always call the dogs off when we're up by 3 scores. No one else does.

Don't know if this has already been posted.

Jerry Jeudy tweeted out a "thinking" emoji and then retweeted someone who said they hated to see Jeudy not being used at Bama.

Guess he's getting impatient with not getting the ball or much playing time

I hope he doesn't have that kind of shitty attitude. Ridley needs to talk to him
