our 2 best starters gave up how many runs in the first game? Our RF didn't make a play on a fly ball and was content to let the first baseman try and make a play. They would have scored 0 in first inning with that play.

Yea they had Gentry playing half way to Meridian. Williamson should have given up on it and let Gentry try to make a play.

yep. gentry should have taken charge on the play and easily caught it.
but even had that happened, bama starter just throwing fastball after fastball at 90 was going to get stroked. looked like BP.

The RF should have yelled loud enough to call him off. It was not clear if he was saying a word. The 2nd baseman had a better shot then the first baseman. That was just lazy and bad fundamental baseball there.

It's possible, but we gotta play better than we did last weekend. We'll have to have one of our starters put together a big time performance.
If we win 1/3 we'll probably have a Top 40 RPI Monday, even at 25-16 (5-13).
