So Penn St lost their OC to Miss St (their head coach?) and now this guy. Im guessing he didn't get named the OC at Penn St and wasnt happy about it.

I'll take it. Gattis seems to be a solid up and comer in the coaching ranks. Legit recruiter also

Same with the A&M guy. Both fanbases are complaining about the recruiting loss they are gonna take.

Seems like we are bringing in a new era of younger recruiters. Hopefully we can develop them even more. The biggest move this off season may be bringing our recruiting to a new level, despite it already being ridiculous.

Feeling really good about all these coaching changes.

I'm fricking hype about Gattis, never thought he'd make a lateral move working with Franklin for so long.

Could have been that he got passed up for OC there...

Could be. Though is working for Saban at Alabama a lateral move? Feels like it's at least an inch or two of an incline

It's definitely an easier stepping stone to a promotion.

Gattis could be a OC this time next year...

So is Tosh officially just DC and Pete Golding gets the co-DC ILB title?

Hmmm...an opportunity to coach at the GOAT CFB program, learn from the GOAT CFB HC & recruiter, as CoOC/PGC/WR Coach, with Tua at QB & all those elite WRs...more money...maybe next OC if Locks gets hired away...become a highly sought after coach...hmmm...

I doubt it was a hard decision.

Yea, I'd never consider a move to Bama even if it is the same position a lateral move. Especially, with how Saban's coaching tree has turned out.

Saban could have someone to dust his nuts with a beard brush every morning and some other HCs would learn of it and try it the next day.

Perhaps Lupoi DC/ILB and Golding CoDC/OLB.

Maybe we'll find out today.

So heard Dunbar wants to stay, Tosh is DC with Gold Co, freeze is an analyst can’t have him on the field due to blow back.

So either a TEs coach added or Banks coaches TEs and a second DB coach hired?

I'm ok with Freeze as an analyst. Someone said that analysts can help players during the offseason while coaches can not.

That's solid.

Folks better be prepared for Freeze to throw a "dead body" over the upper decks @ BDS.

I wanted Freeze as the TE coach.

I get why we aren't hiring him there though.

Gotta have something to complain about right?

The man has been coaching defensive line for 20 damn years. He's a stud and a great guy to have around.
