This is one of the only times that I wish Boz made this up. It would prove that all these reporters with "sources" are just stealing from message boards

If Boz came back and said, " I was just fricking around, to see what happened" it would make my day

Is Benito Jones still eligible to transfer without sitting a year? If so I imagine Freeze could help with that.

No, only guys that have just one year of eligibility remaining can transfer without sitting. Benito has two years left.

I thought even guys with 2 years of eligibility could file a waiver to be able to play immediately. At least that's what I thought remember reading when Patterson transferred to Michigan.

They can.

Jones would be eligible if he applied for a waiver.

Did you guys watch the offense that Freeze ran at Ole Miss? He learned under Gus but even Gus would have a hard time with that shite. Freeze places little to no value on the running game. And you can make excuses for him all you want, it doesn’t add up. His QB led the team in carries and yards every year minus sack yardage. He lined up in the shotgun on 4th and short every time he went for it. Don’t give me that shite about his OL being weak, he had a few 4 and 5 stars there too. He’s just overcommitted to the pass. He’s Texas Tech v 2.0.
Do not want as OC no way, no how, baggage aside. I’d rather keep Locks.

Former #OleMiss HC Hugh Freeze did meet with Nick Saban today. I don’t think it was all abt the Bama OC vacancy. The hunch here is Saban promotes from within for that..Last yr Saban hired Freeze’s old OC Dan Werner as an offensive analyst. Werner took the SoCar QB job last wk.

Hell if we’re going to sell our soul to the devil we might as well dig up the Briles family.

Are we really going to compare hiring some hookers to actively covering up numerous rapes? Just stop.

being at a facility and being interviewed is two different things.

Stoops was always in Tuscaloosa.

Just a slight correction - he would be eligible if he RECEIVED the waiver. Simply applying for it guarantees nothing. The NCAA is very inconsistent on these things.

Does anybody have BOL or Tidesports? Need info

I saw the possibility that Hugh Freeze could be a offensive analyst like what Sark was in 2016

Was just told the Freezer is coming on board, will take a few days.

As of now it looks like he will be an analyst of some kind and we promote from within. Will have more today.

So then Locksley is the guy. I'm not impressed with that hire, but even a mediocre coordinator can score a lot of points with the talent we have on board now. I will say that at least Locksley likes to run the football.
