Yes become independent. Organize and collaborate our own schedule. Reserve placement into CFB in perpetuity.

The deal that Bill Battle negotiated with Nike was egregiously HORRIBLE. I hope and pray this time around we have someone competent negotiating the deal. For some reason, I’m thinking the contract is up at the end of this month. Anybody know?

We got it again for 2025. UGA, LSU, Mizzou, OU.....and basically AU has two off weeks to prepare for us. So yeah frick Sankey or whoever makes these schedules

Alabama has a bye before Georgia and LSU. Alabama basically has two weeks to get ready for Auburn.

huh? We play Oklahoma the week AU is on a bye. AU then plays Mercer before the Iron Bowl; whereas, Bama plays a directional school. I'm not saying it's a gauntlet for us but yeah AU basically has two weeks whereas we get one week. AU also on the backend of their schedule plays Vandy, Kentucky, and Arkansas before their Bye. It would be a miracle if AU doesn't show up prepared next year
