I think we are in still. SMU has zero two 25 wins and we have 3 and played 4 top 25 teams. They are 0-2 vs top 25 teams. 17th vs 75 schedule strength. You can't reward weak schedule and not penalize for losing every tough game you have played or else everyone will do it. Lastly it's all about $ and we bring that in droves. Notre Dame/Penn State vs Bama will be a huge money draw from tv and vegas

Can you imagine the crappy team we'll play in the bowl game?

Illinois most likely (if we're out)

I’m keeping hope. Again, we beat Georgia, clem lost to them by 31

There's a reason they were 6 spots behind us with the same record. The biggest thing we have going for us is that the committee clearly didn't think much of Clemson or the ACC in general and SMU has lost to both decent teams they've played. There's going to be a ton of external pressure to keep them in now, but they've ignored that in the past.

But tonight was absolutely the worst possible outcome of that game for us.

They did it last year when Louisville lost a tough game to FSU.

Yeah no one is looking at it objectively. It's just a celebration of us being out. That's fine. But let's stop the guise of it being some legitimate point, because it's not. We're clear as day more qualified than SMU

Greg Byrne should cancel all of our P4 OOC games and do everything he can to make our schedule as easy as possible. It’s all about wins and losses not the difficulty of your schedule. We have a brutal schedule next year and he should do everything he can to give our starters a break.

Sean is trying so hard to get them in but if Bama beat Oklahoma it doesn’t matter

First Greg and Sean, they don't have a good enough resume. Schedule terrible and 0-2 against top 25. And by saying if they put Bama in over SMU, that it will make teams not want to play in the championship game, then it will have the opposite effect of teams will play shite out of conference because it will be solely about wins.

Nothing legitimate to blame except that shitty effort in Norman.
Yep. Say what you want, Bama’s terribly limited offense doomed them from the start. The OU game sealed it. Hoping we introduce new wrinkles and maybe new faces in the bowl game.

Genuinely where the frick did this conference championship immunity talk come from anyway? Why did everyone uniformly agree to that? Because these conferences are so unbalanced it hurts

Someone ask Greg's dumbass about the "dangerous precedent" of putting in a non conference champion that doesn't have a single win over a top 25 team.

I mean, they’re already putting in 3 not including SMU.

I said this the other day. Why is Indiana not under scrutiny??? Their schedule is trash with no wins over top 25, and got whipped by the only one they played
