I told people he wasn't all that nor was he better than Terrion Arnold.

He's a free saftey at best and yes... he's very similar to Eddie Jackson but he's the slower version of him.

Dale and Ekiyor all had eligibility left. I'm really surprised Ekiyor didn't get drafted

Lots of games played between those two, but not much to show for it.

We need difference makers in the trenches. Those guys ain't it.

It's part of their culture and a reason why that state is dying.

SIAP, awesome article about Brian Branch:

quote:

The NFL invited 17 prospects to the NFL draft with the expectation all would be picked in the first round, walk across the stage, hug commissioner Roger Goodell, and make a memory of a lifetime in one grand evening.

Except Will Levis wasn’t picked in the first round.

And Joey Porter Jr. wasn’t picked in the first round.

Keion White wasn’t picked in the first round.

And Brian Branch wasn’t picked in the first round.

But rather than come back Friday to get a another chance at hearing their names called in the second round, all those men left Thursday night and declined to return for another try on Friday.

Except Branch.

With DeMarcco Hellams going off the board, you could now field an entire NFL offense and defense just made up of #Alabama players drafted over the last three classes. That’s insane.

Eli Ricks got some really bad advice.
undrafted players with eligibility remaining should be able to return to school and play. With all this nil money nobody is an amateur anymore anyways

Agreed. At the very least they should have the same opportunity that basketball players have to declare while maintaining eligibility and the option to withdraw before the draft after getting feedback from teams.

I agree in principle but then it’d turn into college basketball and CFB has giant rosters in comparison. Coaches would lose their minds trying to project who’s returning and who’s going...

Way more eligible players would enter the draft if they could go through the process but return to school if undrafted.

Sources: #Browns are picking up the fifth-year option on LT Jedrick Wills. This guarantees a salary of $14.175 million for 2024 for the former No. 10 overall pick

The #Broncos are picking up the fifth-year option on WR Jerry Jeudy, sources say, locking him in for 2024. No surprise, they had plenty of interest from teams wanting to trade for him, but Jeudy is a big part of their future.

How is it possible that Wills has already been in the league that long??? Good Lord, time flies.

He's going into his 4th year in 2023. They picked up his option for 2024. So it's not as long as it sounds.

I just hope Julio plays another year. The most important recruit of the Saban era. It'll actually be sad when he retires...along with Ingram. Like closing the door on that early Saban era...Kareem Jackson as well. Anyone else from that 2009 NC team still in the NFL?
