Seems like the Redskins have taken a ton of Bama players over the last few years

They took Mathis because they’re most likely not retaining Payne

I like looking at teams sub Reddits to see what their opinions on the players are. Washington’s fan base doesn’t like Mathis because he’s a reach and he’s 24. They don’t like Robinson because they already have too many RBs.

Texans fan base love Metchie and even Christian Harris. But they’re convinced he’s good in coverage which isn’t true

Reddit team specific subs always end up becoming toxic as frick once they reach a certain size. The smaller ones that are more close knit are usually pretty great, but like /r/Braves for example kinda fricking sucks now because of all the trolls and hot take artists it has attracted over the last 3-4 years while we have been good, and the submission requirements are so difficult to comply with and strictly enforced that it ensures that most threads are started by like 6 different users, half of whom are mods. One of the mods on /r/Rolltide is a fricking douchebag and there are a couple of assholes over there who take the no true Scotsman bullshite way too far, but for the most part the discussion there is OK.

Possibly, they lost Matt Ioannidis and Tim Settle who were heavy contributors. I believe Rivera said that Ionnidis played close to 50% of defensive snaps last year.

Jerome Ford just got drafted which I think makes 7 for Cincy. They’re gonna take a big step back

Jobe went undrafted. I thought he was a good player after 2020. His injury hurt him bad

Surprising nobody took a chance on Chris Allen. He was on the way to good season before getting hurt.

Me too, I really believe he could've been at least a 3rd rounder had he not gotten hurt. Sucks.

Jobe’s injury must be a lot more serious and long term than we thought. No way he goes undrafted, or even probably past the 4th round, if healthy.

Surprised no team took a flyer on Jobe or Allen late in the draft... injury concerns or not...the risk/reward would seem to be there late... especially when you see names no one has ever heard of going. Did Georgia's water boy get picked?

Anyway, Jobe should have gone UFA with New England...big need there and god knows they didn't draft worth a crap.

A Look at Alabama's Possible Early Selections in Next Year's NFL Draft (SI)

Bryce Young and Will Anderson could be the first two picks in next year's draft, but there are several other Crimson Tide players capable of coming off the board early.
