Alfano amd Shane Lee are gonna be huge for us next year.

Offensive Line wise im guessing Leatherwood slides to LT, Ekiyor takes over at C, and Matt Womack at RG... or maybe Darrien Dalcourt who I love.

That defense will get worked again by sunshine, I don’t see the difference

I would’ve happily added a healthy Diggs and Lewis to the fold last night and that’s before we lost Miller.

You can’t convince me that more rotating pass rushers and a top notch corner wouldn’t have helped

It's the players. They are not that good and have nobody to develop them because the staff is overloaded with recruiters as opposed to coaches who can develop talent.

No. Many of the players on the defense were inexperienced and having to overcompensate for other players who are inexperienced. Some of the guys on the defense who started were supposed to be backups this season. This will benefit us going forward.

I had such high expectations for that clown.

Really...calling a school kid a clown. This fits the profile of someone that tweets recruits and threatens kickers.

If you are a grown man, calling someone of this age a clown should be beneath you. Have some self-respect.

But yeah, I agree his play doesn't meet the ILB standards we've become accustomed to given he was a Top 20 guy out of high school.

Here are the problems: we have to replace the entire right side of the line: Tua’s blind side AND with a new OL Coach. That may be good or bad, we’ll have to see.

We need a new MLB. Mack is playing out of position and he sucks at it. We either have to deal with it or throw another first year starter into the fire and see what happens. I just can’t see staying with the status quo because it’s bad. Maybe we’ll find the next C.J. Moseley.

Irv is gone. We will mis that freakish TE mismatch he provided.

We lose Damien and Baby Rhino in the backfield. Najee and Brian Robinson and one of the young guys will have to step up to fill those big shoes.

For the love of God, can the incoming kicker just be consistent on making EPs?

DL will be a complete retool. We need lots of young hungry alphas to step up.

QB-someone will have to step up behind Tua. He has shown a slight durability issue so the backup will have to be capable of taking the reigns.

Lots to work on. We have the talent, do we have the coaches?

Is Irv really gone?

And I see Evan Neal coming in and having a Cam Robinson-like freshman season (good thing??).

Defensive line will be young and GOOD. Take that to the bank. This DL will not look like sophomore and freshman in 2019.

We had a bad ending to the 2013 season and came back.

MLB: completely agree, need one of the young guys to step up most likely, which could spell huge trouble early on. Hopefully the offense will be plenty good enough to outscore other teams while the young ILBs learn. Another note, VanDarius Cowan really put us in a shitty spot regarding linebacker both this past year and next year.

RB: I think RB will definitely see a drop off but I don't know how big it will be. DH34 and JJ8 were absolute studs. Jacobs will be a legit stud in the NFL. RB is one of the easier positions to replace IMO. I think Brian Robinson will be an absolute animal to go along with Najee. Same with Trey Sanders if he can pick up blocking schemes (thats a big IF).

DL: this one will be tricky. If Davis returns, we have him, Barmore, Mathis, and Ray who all have experience (except Barmore, but apparently he is an absolute nightmare in practice and the last time we heard that was about some guy named Quinnen Williams - I think Barmore plays a big role next year). Behind that we have lots of question marks. I think the key to dominating on defense is having multiple big guys up front you can rotate. Our best defenses ('15 and '16 imo) all had studs and more studs behind them and we could rotate a lot. I expect a couple of freshman to come on strong as the season goes, particularly Alfano and Byron Young (if we can hold on to him). Those two cats are physically ready to play SEC ball and Alfano reminds me of Jon Allen 2.0 in physical ability and demeanor.

I thought Raekwon sucked this year. Would make a play once we were up big but he dropped off big time IMO. And Mack missed too many plays this year. Stay and focus more or go pro and tweet your heart out.

One impression I get is that Raekwon has yet to realize the dedication/effort required for him to achieve his potential on the field...#99, #30, and #8 have all ingested a certain amount of “rat poison”
