They were dumb in the first place. People think because they hate a player others do as well.
Ryan doesn't hate Milroe and probably thinks the world of him. Sadly if he would transfer it would be because he doesn't believe in Ty or that our new golden boy out of Texas that looks like a Jayden Daniel's clone doesn't win the job.
As far as paying him, I'm sure we will do that

I think mack will be the starter next year and simpson hits the portal after spring but we will see.

Mack is a stud. Was the 8th best QB prospect after reclassifying to a class that had Manning and Nico.

If Keelon Russell is an early enrollee, I could see him being the starter tbh.
I don't think any of our depth at quarterback is can't miss. I was very high on Mac Jones after the 2019 season because we got to see Jones execute the offense and essentially his only blemishes were two bad throws in his first SEC road start against our in-state rival. So perhaps part of my dismissiveness of the current depth is just a lack of exposure.
Ty Simpson could be that gap year quarterback to get Russell the experience in the scheme to run with it in 2026. However if Russell is around in the Spring and the veterans don't seize on the opportunity then I could see this staff just investing in the Freshman from the outset.
