Agree to disagree...
Like many posters here, I think he has had played very hard. In fact, despite only having second or third team talent due to lack of speed, I think he's made many good plays for us due to his effort and strength. If he loses weight and gets quicker, with this year's experience, I think he'll be a solid contributor for us going forward.

Lee did his best, but he was a complete liability. It didn’t help that Golding had him doing thing completely opposite his abilities (like delayed blitzes )

Look, whatever you think about Lee and how hard he played, and his heart of a champion, and outstanding character, the fact is he’s too slow to play LB for Alabama, and losing 20 lbs isn’t going to change that.

We’ve got Dylan Moses returning along with Harris, possibly McMillon and a host of true freshman talents.
We can appreciate Lee’s contributions to the worst Saban defense ever, and move on.
