Harris and Lee actually looked good in the 2nd half. If those two figure it out this offseason we may be in great shape for 2019 with a 2 deep or Moses, McMillan(assuming he gets a medical redshirt), Lee, and Harris.

Christian Harris is a baller, he just was asked to do 4x as much as any true freshman should have to do - especially when that true freshman has NEVER played linebacker.

Shane Lee just can't play at this level at his current physical state.

Dude, Lee is just not an SEC level talent. Great kid from a great family, but his speed (and he doesn’t have the elite size - like a Hightower- to make up for it) will always hold him back.

Lee is just like DePreist. He wasn’t a bad player for us but guys like them are not the best suited for today’s offenses.

Yeah I meant Harris not Jones. Agreed. He was flying around in the 2nd half.

I agree. He needs to drop some weight this offseason and get his speed up. Depriest was slow in coverage but he almost always made the play in running situation. Lee wasn’t even filling the hole most of the season.

I’m thankful we had Lee even tho he is too slow for our caliber of defense. Imagine the drop off if it wasn’t for his EFFORTS all year. Thank you Shane Lee for giving it all you had. Enjoy this win big man.

Harris is going to be a good one. And as slow as Lee is he does fine when he doesn't have to cover in the open field. He's the best tackler on the worst tackling team Saban has ever fielded in Tuscaloosa. If Lee gets his hands on you, you're going down.

I agree with all though, he simply lacks the speed to play ILB in a Saban defense. Kid is all heart and never quits though.

Lol. We can. I’m a Braves fan and I fear we won’t spend enough money this offseason.

Kaho, Kennedy, and Brattain will make for a nice 3 deep.

Any way he could go the other way and add bulk to play D Line?

Lee plays as hard as anyone on defense. Good tackler. I just can’t figure out why we ask him to cover rbs in the pass game, better yet, why someone looked at his film and decided they thought he could. Maybe he can trim up and not lose any thump. He’s built like Marvin Constant

If nothing else they proved that we can have middle linebackers go through a season without a significant injury. That's a rare thing for our team over the past few years.

And one thing about Lee...I agree he's not very fast, but I've been impressed with his strength. I've seen him grab runners moving forward and throw them back. I'm glad we had him this year...he played hard.

Why do we all have to act like we were somehow impressed by Lee?
If somebody doesn’t take his spot next year im going to throw myself out of a window. He needs to find himself a nice spot on the bench for the rest of his Alabama career

Ive seen blockers absolutely destroy him, and blow him out of holes all season.
I’ve seen him hesitate to jump on a loose ball.
I’ve seen him “run” like a defensive lineman.
I’ve seen him unable to fill a hole all season.
I’ve seen him get juked by the slightest change of direction.

In short, I’ve seen one of the worst LBs to ever start at Alabama all season long, and nobody do anything about it.

The kid has no intensity, no athleticism, and no instincts. I’d be surprised if he could start at a division 2 school.

All this being said, I’m sure he’s a helluva nice guy from a nice family.
