Don't know what it was but Something was out of the ordinary with him...his body language wasn't right. Be it injury or attitude, Something was/is up!

Looked to me like his left shoulder got smashed pretty good on one of the runs.

He's taken some tough licks in recent weeks. That stuff starts to add up after a while. I'm sure he's banged up but just how bad, who knows? He's a good runner but I think his effectiveness as a runner has diminished in the last few games because now everyone expects him to keep the ball and run it.

Would love to see him just hand it off a bit more (I realize it's an option) to the RBs. I do think his odds of taking a vicious lick and getting hurt/tearing up a knee are going to increase the more he runs it.

Interesting theory.

I agree that some looks seem like obvious runs. In particular when we go with an empty set it has usually been a QB run. But i think we will start to see some counters off those looks.

So far it looks like CKD loves to win with scheme. I think he has a really good offensive system. But we also have to sometimes be able to win man on man. I dont think he has embraced that yet.

Lockroom picks the QB not the coaches. Even saban let it be so.

Watch these consecutive plays. He does not look 100%.

Not trying to start a qb debate and I believe Milroe is our best option, but how are looking if he gets hurt? Do ya’ll think Simpson could do at as good a job? Should we hit the panic button if he is hurt?

The practice video today showed him going through drills like normal.

Good. The OC needs to pick spots with true QB runs where Jalen just catches it and tries to pick a hole to run through.

He was slammed into his non-throwing shoulder during the drive he had the end zone interception. He grabbed at it, then quickly removed his hand.
For the ones complaining about Jalen not seeking out contact like Diego Pavia, Pavia got beaten to death against Kentucky and finished the game limping. A QB can't make a full season in the SEC seeking out contact on every run. He has to protect himself.
