Truth. I'd be surprised if there's ever been a bigger blowout in an NCAA final round.

I’ll say it...it’s BS that it was held at the home course of OSU. I know that it was set years in advance and OSU probably would’ve beaten us anywhere, bits crazy to me that they had it there. Such a huge advantage for any team on a number of levels.

Is this a bad year for college golf?

Actually no, this is a very good year for our progams, which had cooled off a little since the titles at the beginning of the decade. Hopefully we build on this like we did the last run.

I believe I said they would’ve won anyway.

Maybe, but no way to know this.

I only watched the first couple hours of coverage and we were missing putts we made all day Tuesday, while OSU was making tons of putts. We just weren't on our game yesterday, and I don't think the course had anything to do with it. Just one of those days.

Alabama's been up and down all season. It's one of the reasons we only won 3 tournaments, compared to OSU who won 9. I didn't expect us to go out and win. Hardee, Shore, and Riley are all solid players, but this team didn't have a Bobby Wyatt, Justin Thomas, or Robby Shelton. Oklahoma State had 3 players ranked in the top 15. This was similar to the year we won back-to-back in '14. So much talent, anything less than a championship would have been disappointing.

All in all, Seawall has built a great program here. 4 championship appearances in 7 years with two titles. We'll definitely be back.
