I started on scout before converting to tide sports. I remember DD4bama very well.
Also posted on utopiafootball, which was a site dedicated to the NCAA game series but had a cfb discussion board as well. Large bama contingent on that site.

I think it's just more difficult to recognize people without avis/sigs. I rarely paid attention to people's usernames, just which team they're a fan of

I am Facebook friends with some of the old TS crew. I still keep in touch with the Bama Todd and Uncle Tupelo/Marshall Stacks, and BigD.
