I feel like Alabama lost out on Williams when he decided to play the game after reclassifying. If Alabama's system is as claimed, we're going to an NIL gun fight with a water gun.

If he goes he goes. He can go be their little bitch like Downs.
Maybe he can throw the ball to himself and have success.

I'd prefer to have a future all-pro safety and the best in-state WR prospect since julio jones. I think you win with the best players more often than not.

If he does they'll have brought in the top 5 receivers in the state this year, 3 of them 5 stars and the other 2 high 4 stars. Doesn't take a great QB to succeed with that kind of talent. Personally I hope we at least keep Williams away from them. I hate Freeze and the Barn but that haul would be up there with the Rydeouts.

Whatever his NIL number is , Bama needs to be there
I really think he wants to come to Bama if we have a comparable offer

Let’s see them play before we compare them to 4 high quality NFL receivers and 1 Heisman winner.

I just meant from a recruiting perspective. But while I think Perry Thompson has bust written all over him, Cam Coleman and Ryan Williams are legit. And the other 2 guys are very good too. It'd be nice to at least keep Williams away from them.

There is no telling how much money AU has spent on this cycle. It has to be more than any school in the SEC by a mile. Then again they have no choice because as of today the barn is nothing but schedule filler to the better teams.
Lets see how they handle the locker room when all these pricks get there and the down the line players learn about who is making what.

I think he does too. Before Saban retired I felt pretty confident. He wore Bama gear at all his Barn visits. It felt like he was just trolling them. Hopefully he realizes how much he would eat in a DeBoer offense.

Also, this WR coach DeBoer brought with him is legit from all the YouTube video I've watched on the UDub offense.
We're going to get back to the mid-to-late-2010s when our receivers knew how to create space.

It's just bizarre how my entire life you had to worry about a booster buying a recruit an egg McMuffin...and now we're at this point. This just isn't sustainable. It's nuts.

I swear you guys make up these narratives and then it gets parroted non stop.
How do any of you know what Bama’s NIL has looked like or what it’s capable of looking like? You don’t know anything. Bama wasn’t pulling in no. 1 classes for free. Guys would come here for a discount but there was still a lot of money being dished out.
This isnt Miss St. Alabama just put together a contract for the reigning coach of the year thats around 10 mil a year plus a 12 mil buyout.

This. We have a lot of money. Just because Saban was stingy with NIL deals doesn’t mean that DeBoer will be.

These kids are not going to commit to improving the team when they are already planning on portal shopping after the season. It’s no wonder the normal cycle of progression has been stunted for three fricking seasons. Most of these kids don’t give a shite about improving when there’s easy money to be had by jumping ship. Jesus, it’s no wonder Michigan did better with less supposed “talent”. They got kids who were dying to be there and bought into the process… that thing that made Alabama 3-4 stars show the frick out against everyone from ‘08-‘12.

I do think Freeze is at least a little better game day coach
But this looks like A&M all over again. They had a bad locker room and guys (like Evan Stewart) with bad attitudes. Literally quitting on small plays

It’s working out pretty well for the students, which is who college is supposed to work for. If you don’t like it, keep your money in your pocket and turn off the TV. If you can’t do that, it’s YOU who are the real “problem.”
I’m not giving a college kid shite to play football.

Alot of truth there. It will be interesting to see how things pan out at places like Auburn who obviously are just paying out the arse.

Yeah except Saban, Byrne, and DeBoer’s “general manager” are all on record saying the roughly equal pay system is their preference. In the absence of other on record communication, my assumptions are more based on facts than any other.
