He was a massive difference maker against St John's.
He's our main guy other coaches have to make sure defenders don't sag off when he's on the court. That alone is a difference maker for the entire offense. He's also a good defender and honestly didn't look slowed down at all after the surgery.

Michigan is scary good. They've got dudes everywhere. Their NiL budget must be huge. I know in their game last night Bruce said AU's million dollar offer to Yaxel didnt even make him pause to consider AU because of how high his offer to Michigan was.

We play them twice as well. Kinda doesn’t matter. I’d certainly have rather St Johns won, but shouldn’t affect the resume.

Im hoping we can get something similar from Bethea when he comes back. Probably not as deadly a shooter but more explosive, and hopefully solid defense.

I get the feeling based on what I read on Bethea that he's probably going to be a weaker defender at first...he's physically capable of being a good one though.

Bethea should be in a role that allows/demands him to play hard on defense. I see him playing more as a secondary ball handler and shooter than a guy who is asked to run the offense, unless Philon or Aden are unavailable for some reason.
