LSU was never really much of a threat, even in the red zone. One or two catchable balls reeled in by the WR's and it's an even more lopsided game and Ty's numbers look better.
There's a reason "a win is a win" is used so often. Beating LSU by 40 points or 1 point, it doesn't matter to me.

That’s exactly what LSU fans said when they were undefeated this year. How you play matters, because it will translate to losses against better teams if you don’t fix it.

Take off the crimson glasses, he missed throws. He’s back to holding the ball too long. It’s why his deep ball is crap. Bama can’t run and can’t throw deep so the defense can sit on the short to intermediate routes and that’s it.

I’m sure nothing’s being held back but each game is a new creature. Ty was mediocre to bad today, but that’s usually not the case. If he hits 2 or 3 of those throws over the middle that he’s usually money on, this is a 34-9 game and everyone is happy.
Just don’t overthink it. Offense was off, defense was superb, and Bama is a win next week from being a lock for the playoffs.
Not a soul anywhere would’ve thought that possible at 10 pm on August 31st.

Because our defense has won the vast majority of those games. That won’t hold if the offense doesn’t get their act together and quickly. We aren’t beating OU, at AU, or A&M in the SECCG with that offense. They better figure it out and quickly.

OU is going to bring constant pressure. Ty has to know where to go with the ball QUICKLY. They have zero reason to respect the running game. I would swap a DL for another pass rusher

Okay, but LSU didn't beat anyone worth a damn while they were saying that. 'Bama has beaten some solid teams, including UGA in their house. Not the same at all.

FL and UT both should have beaten UGA. LSU didn’t beat any world beaters, but forcing Lagway into 5 ints and beating Clemson to start their free fall wasn’t just a cake walk. And our offense has regressed substantially since the UGA game, that’s the main point. The offense in the SC and LSU games has been really, really bad. It was trending that direction before that, but it’s full on dumpster fire now. They better get it fixed
