I just don't get it. I've been to 3 distinctly different countries and everytime I was there I was the only white American I would see every day.
Each time I would do my best to act in the same manner as the locals do and respect their culture and traditions to "fit in".
It's not hard. If you at least try to assimilate. I was coming to their country. I wasn't bringing Alabama culture with me.
