I understand where you are coming from. You’re a good fan and we’ve all come to expect nothing but the best. Give Coach DeBoer some time. He has no idea of the wave (no pun intended) of expectations headed his way. After the lean years between Coaches Stallings and Saban, I think even the most seasoned Alabama fan has kind of been on cruise control. It took Saban a couple years to get things going, Bama will be ok.

Obviously football as we know it is changing because Saban retired. But whoever was subsequently hired was not gonna change it, so I’m not sure what else to tell upset fans, except it is a little bit unfair to judge a football coach on his ability to coach football or recruit off of his first presser.
