If you include camp fodder, there are currently more than 70 former Alabama players on NFL rosters. So I thought it would be a bit of fun to throw a 56 man squad together.

First impressions: Defense would be ELITE, and offense would have to be run heavy. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Also, I didn't really dig into too many depth guys, though there are plenty at most position.

Defense

DL: Dashawn Hand, Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, A'Shawn Robinson, Quinnen Williams, Dalvin Tomlinson, Jarran Reed.

LB: CJ Mosely, Donta Hightower, Reuben Foster, Mark Barron

Corner: Marlon Humphrey, Kareem Jackson, Levi Wallace, Dre Kirk

Safety: Eddie Jackson, Landon Collins, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Ronnie Harrison

Offense

QB: AJ McCarron(weakest link)

RB: Ingram, Kenyon Drake, Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, TJ Yeldon

WR: Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, Robert Foster

TE: O.J. Howard, Irv Smith JR

Oline, left to right: CamRob, James Carpenter, Ryan Kelly, DJ Fluker, Jonah Williams

LS: Carson Tinker

P: JK Scott

K: We are going for 2.

I would say oline is on the lower end of good. All of those guys are starters. Kelly is the best olineman on the Colts roster, CamRob has been good when healthy. Carpenter has been a pro bowler, though he is getting older. Fluker is the worst of the bunch. Jonah is unproven, but his ceiling is really high and floor is pretty high too.

As big of a Kelly fan I was at Bama, yeah that's not the case.

Was he surpassed last year? I know he had a great season in 2017.

That's debatable considering he missed 9 games in 2017.

He played better in 2018, but the 2 rookies they drafted were arguably superior. Quinton Nelson was getting OROY talk for how well he was playing. Pro Bowl in his rookie season too.

Their OL was pretty great in 2018, think that stigma of being a swing gate in front of Luck still abounds.

Yeah He is really good but uh...There is this guy out there named Quinton Nelson who may end up being one of the best Guards in NFL History.

He’s never made a pro bowl. He’s had about 2 good seasons (first two seasons with Jets) in his career. The rest he’s been average at best.

The Alabama talent in the NFL is getting ridiculous and it’s not slowing down. Will probably have another 3+ first rounders and 10+ draft picks next year too.

Not having a serviceable kicker in the NFL would cost at least two wins. Many League games are decided by less than a TD, and not having someone that can tack on 3 on a late Fourth quarter drive is devastating.

Somewhat on purpose. He would be the 5th of the safeties at best. Dude has really regressed the last few years.

Thought he made 1 with the Seahawks as an alternate.

Crazy how much the 2009 Natty team has mostly filtered through the league. Then again, it was 10 years ago. Damn.

What do you consider regressing? Ha Ha made the Pro Bowl and was 2nd team All-Pro in 2016. After the 2017 season, he was ranked #100 in the top 100 NFL players by his peers. In 2018, he was ranked #14 of all qualifying safeties by PFF...

If that's regressing, I wish my Falcons had players that could regress like that...

Putting Ronnie Harrison over Haha is probably the questionable choice out of the rest.

Packers fans hated him, and consistently call him incredibly overrated. They were ecstatic when he got traded.
