Imagine Lane raising his arms preemptively as a receiver was streaking wide open only for MIlroe to take yet another sack.

Heavy assumption. You may be right though.

He's not right. Kiffin would have made Milroe look good.

He made Jalen Hurts SEC OPOY as a freshman. He made Jake Coker a national champion. He made Blake fricking Sims not just a quarterback, but Alabama's all time leading single season passer at the time.

Yep. How many times did ND and UGA take points off the board by going for it on 4th? Silly to me. They add up.
we might have beat Michigan if we had punted on 4th. Several diaries disasters happened on 4th downs, and if we just punted Michigan would have had to drive, which they couldn't do against our defense. I'm tired of this analytics stuff, just punt the friggin ball and play for field position, it's worked forever

He did. I remember when he only gave Derrick Henry the ball 8 times vs Oklahoma in a game where our defense was having a hard time getting off the field. He gained 100 yards in those 8 carries. That’s when I realized that Kiffen, although a good play caller, he wasn’t as great as everyone or he thought.

Kiffin wasn’t the OC in that game against Oklahoma.

You’re correct, that was Nuss’s last game. Kiffin did the same thing with Henry his sophomore year and against Ohio St. Maybe that’s the game I remember yelling at Kiffin. Wasn’t until his junior year that they finally figured out what we had with Henry and I believe we won the title that season.

The best time to sit him would have been last year IMO. Saban dropped the ball on that one . I am more than ready to move on to another chapter and QB to lead this team and hopefully KDB can do all of what he wants to do on offense . I will not , however , criticize Jalen personally . I don’t know what is true or not regarding rumors but I do believe he truly loved Bama and gave everything he could to do well. I also am very appreciative for him sticking around (he would have had many suitors in the portal last year ) when Saban left and keeping a lot of players here ( 26 I think still left/ declared ) when it could have been a very bad situation this year with 50- 60 scholarship players . I guarantee that played a part in KDB decisions regarding Milroe and you can’t blame him for that . It just didnt work out like anybody wanted it to but still, I appreciate his efforts and hope his future works out for him

Kiffin always knew what he had in Henry. He was a big proponent of utilizing his talents. He may even have saved us from losing Henry.
Saban brought in Kiffin to evaluate and modernize our offense; one of the first things he suggested was to use Henry more. He thought he was our best back.

Henry said his own Grandmother talked him into staying. Pretty sure she raised him.

Except against OSU in that playoff game for some reason. He was killing OSU meanwhile a banged up Yeldon got too many carries and Sims was made to throw too much

We do not know the reason why he was not used as much you would have liked. He did not use Robert Foster at all to my disappointment, with never an explanation.
Drake was not used at Awbarn in a game where he would have won it for us, but was not put in.

Very, very likely, in my opinion
