Kind of extreme opinion from "experts" (sarcasm)

I love how people who really don't know all that much can come right out and make some outlandish opinions and act like its gospel. IMO, these type of takes are really their secret wishes because 99% of these "experts" would LOOOOOOOVE to see Bama be on par with Mississippi State or Boise State.
The ONLY way CKD would be fired this coming season would be if he had committed some kind of horrendous NCAA violation or criminal act. Having said that, if he did go 8-4, I still don't think he would be fired but I DO think his coaching seat in 2027 would molten magma hot. The pressure on him in 2027 would be incredible.

He just got extended, we could win 6 games next year and no one is getting fired.
They just want offseason clicks and publicizing this gives it to them.

He improved in year 2 big time. We'd be SEC Champs if they didn't do a championship game. Won a road playoff game. Plenty to be optimistic about. There's no realistic scenario he gets fired based on on field performance.

If we werent running the play clock down to 5 seconds every snap I would agree, but we are actually a team that was almost ball control while leaning on the passing game last year so we may not throw it 40 times if that continues.

I know he's going to always get heat until he wins a natty, but it's ridiculous to think he's remotely on a hot seat. The guy just took us to the SECCG and won a playoff game...it's getting old for some people to act like he just had back to back 5-7 seasons or something.
And how stupid would it be to pay a massive buyout just to go hire some guy with a weaker resume? Which is literally every active coach outside of 3-4 names. Laughable.
