"Guys laid it on the line. There's a lot of players that wouldn't have played in that game with the way that they felt, or just the limitations they had through practice. But guys want to go win and compete for this program and their teammates."

Who was he referencing?

DeBoer postgame that center Parker Brailsford, wide receiver Germie Bernard and running back Daniel Hill all played through injuries

Where was Ty Simpson's name? Some swore he is injured..... well they asked KDB about Ty specifically and this is what he said:

quote:

As for quarterback Ty Simpson, he was questioned about his health postgame and simply responded, "Everybody is getting hit, everybody is sore in some type of way."

So yeah enough with the BS excuses about Ty being injured. He is sore just like everyone else.

* Our best RB is actually limited and injured yet still tried to play through it because he knew the other two were completely out. No one made excuses for D.Hill

* Our best WR has been injured and again tried to play through it. No one made excuses for Germie Bernard.

We had players actually injured (Cuevas, Newberry, Latham, Brailsford, Germie B, D.Hill, Jam Miller, etc..)

Yet not one person made an excuse for their struggle in play due to their injury.

We have a QB who is NOT injured and who is only sore yet he gets every excuse even when most of his issue outside of deep ball accuracy is his mental implosion.

I’m not sure how you can say he’s not injured when we have statements from Codename about his back and video of him getting treatment during Auburn

You have an odd hate boner for the guy. He can very obviously be good enough to play but also playing through an ailment that impacts his play

Writing a whole post to dunk on him and skirting around that point just makes it disingenuous. We’ve had this discussion numerous times.

Is it possible Kalen is afraid to mention his QB is injured (might be) due the committee may give us the FSU treatment.

If 15 isn't playing injured, then that opens up a whole different can of worms.

Knew the injury stuff about Ty was just an excuse for his terrible play. DeBoer wouldn't have called him out like he did a few weeks ago if he had health issues.

Listen to him when he talks. There’s no doubt he’s mentally challenged.

I'd like to believe an injury is the reason Ty is playing so poorly but it appears to me he's the same exact QB from that dreary 2023 USF game he struggled mightily in. We can just write off that little short lived early season spike he had as an anomaly. Remember when he came in against OU last year, dude couldn't even hit his target on a WR screen? Pass went right behind Bernard? This is who and what Ty is.

But if he was injured and playing so poorly, the logical thing to do is give his backup a chance.

That was over two months ago. Enough if it.

Yeah you can have your back tighten not uncommon, doesn't mean you're injured. I believe you've played football and know from experience the body wears and sores as the season progresses.

That isn't an excuse for not being accurate, being late on throws, making bad reads, running backward instead of moving sideways or stepping up to extend the pocket time or throw away, etc..

You have an odd hate boner for the guy.

How when I have always said Ty has a mental issue? I'm just a bigger fan of us having success then of cheering a player or coach.

When I turned on Milroe after the tenn game last year and was even worse obliterating him after Oklahoma nobody accused me of having a hate boner.

Writing a whole post to dunk on him

How am I dunking on him when I am pointing out the excuses are just excuses. He is playing poorly and it's heavily contributing to losing and the only way for there to be a change is acceptance and accountability.

Have you seen his post game interviews? He literally hasn't accepted a thing so can't be accountable so he continues to spiral downward.

Ty’s banged up, sure. Injured, doubtful.

If he hurt as bad as some here say, then the staff should be fired for putting his future in jeopardy AND for not changing an injured player that is hurting the team.
