Do you believe DeBoer will be working with more talent than he is now going forward?

I think he’ll be working with players that want to be there for him, not Saban. I really do think that Saban had an influence on a few players that stayed. And they knew that was the reason, not Deboer. He has to make a qb change and probably an offensive coordinator change as well.

Yep. Honestly Wommack can be shown the door too. 3 and 1 and showing a 3-man front with linebackers 5+ yards off the ball against a team that already runs the ball 80% of the time. His defense has looked good at times from talent alone. This loss is on Milroe though.

Which should be further proof Bama fans are being ridiculous right now. Its ok to be disappointed your team lost. Its ok to criticize individual decision or even gameplans by coaches or play by players. Its stupid to insinuate a first year in program coach should be on hot seat after going 8-3 with 4 top 25 wins

Not that good when in the SEC you'll play 6 or 7 every year.

If you could just let me know when he's ready to tag in and I'll raise my now tempered expectations.

Do you not think he was put in an almost impossible situation? Not only did he have to keep most of his roster from transferring out and therefore might have had to make some concessions, he’s playing players that may not be exactly fit for his schemes. He may be using coodinators that were hired more for recruiting than anything else. Will be eager to see what changes in the off season. But he needs to definitely beat AU for recruiting purposes.

Kalen is

A-unable to remove the current QB due to the rest of the team will tank thus we can't really tell how good or bad this staff is as of today

B-He is playing the best he has on the roster and the results tell us where this program is headed with, he and this staff.

He has a big part in this clusterfeck

I never really understood his deal saying Jalen deserved to be the guy after the USF game last year.

The thing is … Saban might be the best person to go talk to Milroe and get through to him that his time is over here and he needs to move on, maybe he will listen to Saban.

He bullied Saban last year. He won't listen to Saban.

Then DeBoer and/or Byrne are going to have to man up and run him off. And there will be hell to pay from some quarters but it has to be done.

Saban could have handled it last year, but chose to let it fester and retire instead.

All his doing.

You don't need to negotiate...you tell him his scholly will not be renewed nor any NIL money for 2025. He will be gone before Hardees gets the biscuits done tomorrow.

As I said there will be hell to pay from some quarters because of what he represents and not his maddening inconsistency on the field … I hope I don’t need to draw you a picture … but it is what it is and he can’t be allowed to come back.
