think he is definitely insinuating that Ty held on the ball much too long based on the play calls

Saw a graphic on Twitter that Ty had one of longest times from snap to throw in the conference.

Both CKD and Grubb said he did not trust his reads. Ty was supposed to be a gunslinger but now is afraid to throw. A lot of pressures to me felt like Ty taking forever. he has to throw was some anticipation if we want to have any chance on offense.

Defense is another bag altogether.

The funny thing about Ty is that he spoke to Saban and the one thing Saban told him was to not turn the ball over and be a game manager.

Then in his first start he doesn’t trust himself/coaching staff and is overly cautious.

I am giving Ty some slack, first game. But this won’t last long. Let the ball go.

Yeah I think this is where a "easier" game could help him build some confidence. however this game hopefully did not destroy him.

He definitely made some good throws in the second half, but one thing we do have this year is WR talent. He has to give them a chance

I agree. He also needs to run when there is green grass. He had a few chances and didn’t take off. He has wheels. Use them.

I’ve now rewatched the game three fricking times. The pass pro wasn’t terrible. Ty had time and did seem hesitant to let go.
But, all the receivers just seemed to be running to an area. I don’t know if this is some scheme thing or what but we looked slow.
Ty’s accuracy wasn’t great tho. There were a few times that even on completions, there should have been yac but the ball wasn’t thrown to a position where the wr could do anything.

He wasn’t blameless but hardly our worst problem on the field or sidelines. He’s got to deliver the ball on time in a good spot for the receivers.

You could tell the later it got in the game, the more Ty was pressing. He needed to relax and just do what he can but he was trying to shoulder the team and I don’t think he is capable of that.

I figured as much as far as that goes. I meant more the overall attitude of the team. Seems like a ton of bullshite was being spread by those inside the program.
It was coming from EVERYONE outside of the program too.

Anyone who has visited says the same.

It has been spread far and wide that there is a tangible feel around the program that screams just how focuses and ready the players are. Recruiting is great and kids have been saying they want to be a part of this program bc of how buttoned up it is.

Then the DL literally can’t stop anything and the OL can’t block.

That's been true since 2021. Bryce and the goat coach just masked those issues for a while.

His running style is going to bug the frick out of me I can tell.

He gets to looking like a baby deer out there.

He runs in a way that makes him a big flailing used car lot blowup thing where he’s very easy to tackle. He’s going to have to run north south only and make decisions faster. He’s not going to be the type that can roll out with eyes still down field and then run.

Womack and Proctor being arse might keep DeBoer from getting this thing off the ground

How have we recruited the OL like we have and I can’t name a single one who I trust to be solid?

He is useless. Perhaps the most overhyped player in Alabama history.

He is what he is. He’s not gonna get quicker, or slimmer. Or more physical.
And he’s not moving to guard unless there’s a lot of injuries. And he’s our starting left tackle.
So, we got that going for us. Hope something clicks

I certainly don't see Proctor as a first round NFL draft prospect.

Our OC said today in his press conference Proctor had a "really good game". We've got a bunch of clowns coaching this team.

His actual quote from the PC was
“I thought, you know, KP had a pretty good day. There was a couple late pressures…”

Which is coach speak for “he played like shite”.

Saban never called out players specifically in press conferences, no coach is going to do that. Cook them in the film room, not in front of the media. Also remember Grubb is a guy Saban tried to hire a couple times. So he must not be too awful.

Saban would have NEVER said someone had a pretty good day if they $hit their pants like Proctor did. I have no inclination to believe this was coach speak for he sucked.

So, you really think Grubb thinks he had a great day? He was asked about a player, you think he’s just going to say that he sucked to the media? That’s just stupid.

He doesn't have to say he sucked, but you damn sure dont say "pretty good". It makes you look like a dumbass.
