I think Clemson's new QB will have more passing yards against Auburn than Jalen will against Fresno St. I think their offense will look smoother and more polished, and it wouldn't surprise me if they put up 40 on Auburn. It won't be a close game. That Clemson game last year was an anomaly.
As for Fresno St. they won their first game 66-0, and their fans seem to think they're going to hang with us and prove how overrated FSU was.
I think we'll win by 40-50, but I think our passing game will still look as dull as ever despite a few good-looking rainbows
I get that you feel that way, I just dont see much basis at all for your opinion.

Yeah man, we get it, you don't like Jalen...

I don't think so man. Clemson looked really good. Even when playing inferior opponents which both did Clemsons offense hummed right along. Auburn sputtered at times. They have growing to do and they're not likely to go into Death Valley and get a win.

Auburn was also missing their starting RB and WR.
Clemson was playing a team that may not win a game all season.
Don't get me wrong. frick Auburn. But as a fan of the SEC we need them to beat Clemson.

If you actually watched the Clemson game you'd know that all 3 of their QBs are legit, but especially their starter. He looked better than Watson, but of course we won't know until he faces legit competition this weekend. Clemson's offense looked amazing - just saying

That's like saying Jalen is as good as Watson because of one game against an inferior opponent where he threw for 341 yards, 4 touchdowns, and ran for 100 yards and 1 TD.
Cause that actually happened last year, against Miss. St.

Bryant is not Watson.
We'll see this weekend. Like I said, we can't know for sure after one game, but Bryant looked damn impressive. Watch the tape

Painfully obvious at this point. Fresno is a hurry up type deal and will try the speed ball for awhile. We just need to pound the rock and not a have a lag after a hard fought game.

Fresno St and Colorado St both probably know they have no chance against Bama and just want to get the game over as quickly as possible with no injuries.
I don't expect to see much from either team,

A good Auburn is good for the conference. We still get to beat them on the field.
Who cares if an auburn win is "good for the SEC". The SEC needs us more than we need them. The conference as a whole has been down for a couple of years now, meanwhile Alabama is still dominant.
I personally hope Clemson runs them out the stadium.

quote:It is as if this idiots don't realize that FSU has two first rounders in their secondary and 2 other 5*s. You don't want to just slinging the ball around when the defense is getting a great pass rush.
Don't be surprised if we open up the playbook a little more and start throwing more these next couple weeks to help Jalen progress in the passing game. Saban knows this is going to be important later in the year and that these next few games are the time to work on it in a game
