Being a west coast kid, he was recruited, and offered by DeBoer. So, he at least has some familiarity with the coach and program.

I saw a Twitter or some other post by Sayin on social media and he seemed positive and excited. Can’t find it and don’t want to look for it but would be easy to look up his social media.

Yeah, he retweeted one of the initial deboer announcement things. Seemed like he was happy.

Sayin will be an absolute star in this offense. Might need a year to mature and get in a college S&C program first.

The Ty vs Milroe competition will be very interesting.

Yep. He will need a year or two in the program because he looks like a kid right now. But his upside is amazing. I’m very interested to see how Simpson improves in this offense. People overlook him constantly when discussing the quarterback situation but that guy is talented.

Simpson looks to be a more traditional pay action passing game type of QB. His ability to read the defense will likely be his strength (can he build/develope that). His release is long so screens, flares, digs, posts, corners, back shoulder throws are where he should be best.

Sayin is not as tall and has a lower release. But his release is pretty quick. Reading the defense and the RPO game with slants should be very good for him. I have no clue how he will do with a deep route tree but we will get a better idea in the spring.

Milroe will have to improve dramatically in reading the defense (both pre and post snap). If he does improve that, he can have a big year. If he cannot, with the type of offense (QB centric) De Boer / Grubb run, Milroe is not the play.

One of my concerns is the age/axperience of the WR room. The De Doer offense appears to require that both the QB and WR's need to read the DB's and be on the same page. That usually requires experience and time together. Antisapatory passing will be a big deal.
