I wish the next time Joe tried to throw shade on Alabama during the broadcast he'd choke to death on live TV. I'd rather swallow a damn cactus than listen to that insufferable joke of an announcer.

For me, the sideline babes need to be either good looking or REALLY good looking (e.g. Jill Arrington back in the day) OR really need to know what the hell they're talking about. Probably politically incorrect but I don't care.

personally, i'm not a fan of any sideline reporters male or female. i especially hate when they drag a coach over to do an interview during a timeout. i wish whoever made the decision to start doing this should have a reporter shove a mic in their face during a business meeting and ask some mundane question.

I remember around 1980, Phyllis George stopped Coach Bryant to ask him a question about why he did something and he kind of went off on her, “I’m trying to win a football game!!”

Every now and then you'll get a little gold like Kiffin's popcorn comment or a shell shocked BK at halftime of the 2012 natty, but 99% of the time you get a bunch of worthless coach speak that does nothing to enhance the broadcast.
