Jamo is a big time playmaker but he sucks arse as a blocker. That’s one reason our WR screens suck this year. Dude looks like a 12 year old girl out there trying to block on the edge. That’s what separated Smitty, Waddle, Judy, Ruggs, etc. The Ryde Out Boys were scrappy and would make a huge play and come back and block their asses off for their teammates. That was a special group of dudes.

So how did you feel about Smitty's big balls celebration after his second TD yesterday? fricking showboater that Devonta. Let me tell you. Back in my day players actually apologized for scoring touchdowns. That's real respect!

Saban has gotten that out of most of our WR's, big time NFL prospects as well as the more journeyman / high quality college players.

I wonder what the Ohio State forum’s look like about him

I dunno, but he's going to be drafted ahead of all those OSU wrs. That makes for a juicy recruiting pitch, or transfer pitch for that matter

I can tell you --- because I revel in our competitions misery.

They absolutely do not like it one bit. Several pointed out they had wondered more than once why he wasn't playing more; or wasn't on special teams.

The fact he his our ONLY one, makes him stand out more.

They are pissed he has flourished and is a standout vertical threat - as Saban mentioned on Saturday. I only regret that Bryce and he didn't get the kind of reps in (because Williams hasn't been here long) for timing on deep balls.

As an OSU fan very happy for Jameson. He would have played behind Jaxson Smith Njigba who is an elite route runner and pass catcher but doesn't have the speed of Jameson. Jameson wouldn't have had a chance to show his very special skills at OSU. 2 weeks ago, JSN had 15 catches for 240 yards, including one 75 yarder for a td. LINK /

Worth noting that Garrett Wilson had 5 tds against Purdue last week.

I think there should be a special Hall of Fame for second string OSU players who are All Americans. (Start with Williams and Joe Burrow) In any event, I am always happy for a player not looking to have a lot of playing time at his original college who transfers and does very well elsewhere.

Williams and Burrow are great examples of players not able to shine in a program known for it's outstanding players.

It is one good result of the transfer portal's use.

Good post. Welcome to this board...

Jameson could have started at slot, but Olave deciding to come back took that away. Jameson made the right choice for himself. Think we finished second to OSU when he chose them out of HS, similar to To’0 To’O, who went to 10rC.

Sometimes, I try to dislike you guys, but you are among the classiest fan bases. (: (On the other hand, there is Clemson) You had a great team last year whose strength (receivers) was pitted against the worst weakness of OSU --secondary.

Best team in 2020 and very deserving of National Championship.

I don't know of OSU fans claiming him. He is happy and very successful at Bama, and OSU is very happy with their 3 starters and 3 very good backups. (Julian Fleming, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Emeke Embuka (sp) Good for him and everything is good at OSU.

Joe Burrow on the other hand felt he learned a lot at OSU from Meyer and Ryan Day and is grateful for his time at OSU.

As soon as they got good they became insufferable. Tigernet is the worst US sports forum no question.
