Defense improved all year. I don’t love it but wonder if the days of stifling defenses is over. No idea how he recruits.
If so, I’d want to talk to the DC at Cincy.

Everyone is high on Freeman... Does Fickell actually make the calls... Plus he is a 4-3 guy

I doubt it.

Have to say that Harris and Anderson give me hope at LB. Kids can play.

We really need to pull a Condoleezza Rice/Colin Powell package deal with Sark and Golding both heading to Texass.

No, Golding is here until the end of time.

Remember that we have Charlie Strong on staff as a defensive analyst. He always had good defenses when he was at Florida.

You mean that every single year, we have our offensive and defensive coaches poached one by one from our staff, without fail, and no one- not one single university, community college or middle school- is knocking down the door trying to hire Pete Golding?!?!?!?
I’m shocked.
Maybe Coach can land Pete a job with an accounting firm or something somewhere way, way out west. Or Canada. Canada needs talentless middle-management employees, right?
Golding & Nussmeier, a waste management consulting firm. Has a nice ring to it.
Somehow, someway, this failed experiment has to end, after this season, though.
