They’re more like to lose all 4 games than go 2-2. TCU is not the same team as last year and people are going to overreact.
People seem to forget that they lost the best OC in college football last year and a ton of upperclassmen. TCU will be lucky to win 9 games this year.

Only train I hope Milroe is on is the first one out of town.
Cant believe Saban is disrespecting our best QB like this. Guess we have to lose to Texas before he wakes up. Pathetic.
It’s going be ok Ty, you have to look at yourself sometime to see what you can improve on to be better.

I'll be honest if we have no one in the Heisman discussion I'm fine with it. Of course if Milroe plays well enough going forward I will root for him. But it would kind of be cool to just have a good team with no worries about talking about the Heisman

Texas game will be a good start. If it’s a close game and Milroe is playing well, then Saban will keep Milroe in the entire game.
Is it safe to say if we beat Texas that Milroe will be announced the permanent starter?

I don't know how Milroe can be in that discussion if he isn't playing more and throwing much more. For him to do that he needs to get quicker at reading and more accurate with those intermediate level throws.
Even with that Travis Hunter is out of this world and Shadeur Sanders and Caleb Williams look like NFL starters in college.

Not until he learns to read a defense. Watching one receiver that’s wide open against a scrub defense is easy. We’ll find out next weekend though.

No. It's very possible for us to beat Texas with Milroe, but everyone is assuming that Texas will be our toughest test.
LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Ole Miss will all be tough this year.
Idk where Texas ranks in that list of teams, but just because we're able to grind out a 3-point win vs. Texas with Milroe doesn't mean we're set.
As long as Milroe is the QB, there will be many close calls, missed easy throws, turnovers, and fans wondering about the backup QB. When you're deliberately choosing not to play the best passing QB, this is inevitable.

They just put the Heisman odds up on the screen during the FSU-LSU game.
Maybe I missed it, but didn’t see Milroe anywhere on the screen.
Do they not know?

So…
I think you nailed it. I almost made a bet before the season that he would win the heisman. I think it was like 10,000 to 1 odds

Man that would’ve been huge!
He needs help because of the missed game but he’ll definitely be in NY.

At this point this part of the prediction is very unlikely for this season. Had we shaped the offense to his strengths from the beginning of the year I think it would’ve be true.

No. I’ve been with him from the start while recognizing his flaws. If he had played like this for the last six or seven games, sure. But it’s been basically 2.5 games or high level play.
EDIT - my bad I thought this was a new thread. Just see the date.

This prediction is from before the first game.
The 1st overall is not likely to happen.
Jalen has been playing at an elite level since the TAMU game.

I think he was at that level in the second half against A&M, had one good half and one bad half against Arkansas, same against UT. He’s been consistently good for the last two games.
