In this thread, a lot of assumptions.

You're right...and I've learned that they smell a lot like opinions.

I would love to know what Saban is doing behind the scenes, if anything, to help keep the roster in tact. On the surface, it looks like nothing.

It aint Saban's job to do anything and also not Deboer's fault that players are chasing the bag

Our NIL pool isn't as big as some of our competition. Money is the primary motivator now, with coaching a secondary consideration. We're not going to be able to keep as much talent as Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, etc. anymore. Just have to do more with less, and we've got the perfect coach to do that.

And we're finding that out.

It seems we no longer get the you're getting coached by the goat discount anymore.

I thought we would be able to do a better job matching some of these raises but apparently not.

When you are dealing with rats like Kirby and others, you’d better be willing to get down in the sewer.

What makes him a rat?

No but you fight fire with fire. Not hire a cuck who is gonna take it, and that's all he is gonna do. Put your self in a kids position. Would you want to play for DeBoer or any other coach at an elite program. The answer is not DeBoer. Stop Blaming Kirby for what he learned from Coach Saban. There was a blue print. Coach Smart just uses it.

You have no idea what Deboer is doing and not doing.

Yeah, I don't think the board should have accepted any new members for a couple months after Saban's retirement. These are people that weren't even interested in discussing a playoff run...yet suddenly appear. Yeah.

And Kirby is most definitely a slimeball.

You haven’t been paying attention have you??
Shall we go back to January 2016 when Kirby thanked Saban by taking pictures of Bama’s recruiting board and showing it to recruits.

Yeah, I remember that. So what? Welcome to the big water. Everyone, including Saban understands how this shite works. It's a high stakes, cutthroat business where no one fricks around.

You know who took all that shite personal? The fans, not the guys at the top who are playing to win.

Kirby Smart is no more of a rat than Nick Saban was in his prime. How Kirby did things then and how he does them now, is how it's done.

You asked a question about how is he a rat.

I have no doubt that saban swung that elephant trunk around many times to get a recruit in the door.

our Engineering school but that has hit rock bottom since Dean Karr left to become the President of UAH.

Well you can forget that. As the father of a daughter who is a NASA rocket scientist I can tell you her tuition at UAH was roughly HALF of what we would have had to pay at TTown and the internships up there are way better. Thus why my daughter builds rockets.

Yeah I live in Huntsville. I know how good a program UAH is. It's the best Engineering school in the state and produces fantastic graduates that do great work up here. I'm not sure what you're trying to say or if that was supposed to be some kind of gotcha.

We should have beaten Texas, we did beat UGA, and OSU was not even in the playoffs.
