How has game prep and practice going this week? Havent paid as much attention as I usually would this week, being distracted by all the political goings on. But now it’s time to get to important business, and get excited for this championship game!

So anyone with insider knowledge, how are the players/coaches responding this week? Locked in and focused? They have been focused all year, so Im hoping they are locked on to finish strong. And any info if Sark taking the job to Texas has been a distraction for him?

Any info is preciated!

There has been a rumor going around that Metchie is in a walking boot

True or false?

We have players in boots all the time for precautionary / help healing if previous injury . I would think he is fine

As Bear88 mentioned, it’s not unusual for players to be seen in a boot as a precautionary measure, even for a minor issue. I haven’t seen any serious injury related news in regards to Matchie and would assume he’s ready for tomorrow night.

Instead of us taking your words for it, how about providing a link for us to see?

The truth… team is ready!!! Coaches have them prepared and they have movie tonight. They will have walk through before lunch and leave 2.5 hours before game. Practice has gone great. This team is led by seniors and 4th year players that care!!! They came back for one reason, To win it all!!! We will miss Dickerson but he will be on sideline cheering!

I expect DeMarco Hellams and Brian Branch to start. They both played great last game and are ready! The key on defense is stopping their 2 backs and TE. Battle and DeMarco will have to play great. They are both great tacklers. Look for them to come up and put pressure.

We need pressure on their QB from Barmore, Anderson and Allen. Harris and Moses will need to be strong up middle and cover edges. Have to stop them on 3rd down!

Waddle… if he plays, it will be his call. If they had a 5th captain it would be him. For him to even try to come back shows what kind a player he is. He is respected by every coach and player!

Mac has been the best QB in country all year. We need one more game like previous 12!! Ohio State plays a ton of zone and you have to take what they give you. Look for a lot of underneath but take shots when blitz.

Bama thinks Tyreke Smith and Tommy Togiai are out with covid but no way to know. We have nobody out with covid!! I appreciate all the positive/funny posts all year! Let’s finish this tomorrow night!!!

I expect zone blitzes and disguised coverages. Let's hope that Mac makes good decisions and doesn't make fatal errors like Tua did two years ago. This game really concerns me.

They better disguise coverages cause if they have Browning one on one covering Najee out the backfield or Najee and Jahleel split out wide the results will be ugly.

For some reason, I have a lot more confidence in Mac’s processing and presence than Tua. Tua is way more talented but erratic sometimes ; Mac just seems to make the right decision.... a la Tom Brady. Tua is more Aaron Rodgers like.

Just my 2 cents ...

I fully expect Alabama to go empty formations at time. Force Defense to spread. Hard to blitz/ hide your coverage. alabama will find a way to force OSU to declare their coverage

It would be even better if Waddle was going to contribute full go. Any news on him ? I just hope that his body will be able to sustain.

Tommy Togiai

I have no doubt that they will have a full 8 man rotation of high star talent on the DL with or without him, but I'm not going to lie, I'm not upset if Tommy Togiai is out. A great equalizer for Bama being without Dickerson (hate like hell he got hurt at all, let alone when and how he did).

Togiai is a beast up front. Very strong, disruptive and a key for their leadership on the DL.

I hate to tell you a Bama secret, but the Bama Bionic Boot more so than deer antler spray has been a staple for enduring Bama success. If Metchie is booted this week, watch out for the surprise breakout player performance of the game.

It was DeVonta Buckeye06. Let your secondary know they won't have to worry. .

You definitely haven't been reading the board.. if you have, you would've known that Waddle is game time and Boz has said that he's good to go.

Lol. Just scrolled past the image on phone. At first glance I thought Smith and Leatherwood were wearing neck braces
