Add to it that we are getting experience back that didn't get to play much, if at all, last season.

Not aimed at you George, but rather a larger crowd, but do these numbers mean that we are going to believe that the guy being paid 9mm a year with 6 national championships, who hasn’t lost more than two games in a year for like 9 years knows what he’s doing and is competent to hire assess, fire and retain a solid coaching staff?

I wonder if the 2016 defense has more TFL than 2011 is because 2011 generated more stops?
Maybe so...but our 2016 D played much better offenses than our 2011 D...

And thus concludes another daily devotional to our infallible head coach.

I think it comes down to the obvious. We had two true freshmen at MLB. That accounts for the bulk of these stats. They weren’t supposed to be out there.
The stats jump off the page, but it’s really as simple as the MLBs always have the most production.
Christian Harris didn’t even play that badly. Might’ve been as good or better than McMillon late in the season.
The major loss was going from Dylan Moses to Shane Lee. Could that one substitution account for the horrendous showing on defense this season?
Possibly
I just hope we’ve got some freshmen coming in that are ready to to contribute game 1, and can master the delayed blitz.

Nice stats, does a good job of putting it into perspective.

Georgia had a great defense and relied on true freshman across the board (mostly in their specific personnel packages).
Bama vs Georgia will be THE game. The rest of college football should have a bye week. We'll learn so much about both teams. I hope that game is in prime time and not the 2:30 game.
