Yes, obviously it's just me I guess. Maybe you are blessed with more patience than me

Come back in after we lose the next football or basketball game and see if you are really less patient than others on this board. Heck, just go back and find the Auburn or LSU game threads and see what you can learn. Let me put it to you this way, you would not want to serve beside this panicky bunch.

Really? What did this group have to say after the first year of the coach Saban era and how does that compare with the first year of Nate Oats? The last thing Bama fans are, as a group, is uneducated.

On the other hand, SEC football is a win-now league. No team reflects that more than it's "Flagship" university. If it's too hot in the kitchen best get out.

Oats overachieved with this team until Saturday. With Herb being out there is just no way for them to make any sort of run. They are gassed.

Bohannon better fricken make it to Hoover this year.

If I had to serve next to you, I’d put a bullet in your head and fight alone.

I love Mal for everything that he did for the football program, but he was a FOG. The rest of the programs went backwards.

Battle is also a FOG, but he’s a FOG that thought he knew everything. Cost us millions and millions of dollars.

. Maybe you are blessed with more patience than me but at what point will you get impatient with our basketball program and baseball program not making any postseason run? We haven't been to a super regional in what 7 years? Hell, we haven't even made it to the SEC Tourney in 3 years. We haven't made it to the second weekend in basketball in 16 years?

What exactly would you propose be done about our current situations in those sports? The tone of your posts suggests that people aren't sufficiently pissed off about the state of both programs, but nothing could be further from the truth. No one likes it, but considering how much of a disaster Battle was as an AD it's going to take some time to get things fixed.

This thread wasn't meant to solve anything. I was just wanting to vent. I kind of wish we had a "venting" thread stickied. I would keep that thread rocking. I just hope that we have a fanbase that cares for more than just football. I want every team that is affiliated with the university to do well and it just pains me to see other schools pass us by, especially ones in our own state. And yes I know basketball has a large following based on the basketball thread.

Alabama basketball is the second all-time winningest SEC program behind Kentucky. I've seen our B-Ballers take a lot of opponent's lunch money. We needed a coach that gets it. That is all we need.

I remember the days of Wimp Sanderson and Bama basketball was a yearly sweet 16 team in basketball. Need to bring some of that back. I think Nate Oats can do it.

It's incredible that this is legitimately some sort of barometer. Seems almost impossible to miss the SEC tournament 3 years in a row but here we are. I'd be surprised if any other team has ever done that.

This year Alabama literally just has to not have the worst record in the SEC to make the tournament since Missouri is already banned.

Correct. Sounds easy enough right? It’s year three. He needs to finish somewhere in the top 10 in conference.

I'm even afraid to mention it but as long as baseball doesn't catch this injury bug that decimated both football and basketball, they've got a good chance at at least getting to Hoover and maybe beyond.
