Yeah Briles is radioactive and it would become a significant distraction and pressure point with the media. Not to mention all the backlash that will take place from all the “me too” groups clamoring for not only Briles to be fired but Saban and Byrne to resign for even daring to hire the man.
I’d rather deal with Pruitt’s transgressions which at least are in contention and less worrisome considering NIL has made that issue essentially moot

The whole Hugh Freeze mess has made that week of Mike Price's golf trip come back like a Vietnam flashback. Total humiliation for the program.... at least we promptly fired him.

During his press conference Freeze said he hopes Saban and Ms. Terry are nervous because the barn hired him.

That was embarrassing but that was small time compared to Freeze. When I watched or listened to local media today, it was like I was taking crazy pills. Everyone from WJOX to the Next Round just glossing over “mistakes” as if Freeze had some unpaid parking tickets.
